Best Dentist in Greensboro

Visiting our best dentist in Greensboro twice a year helps prevent tooth decay, gum disease and other conditions that may adversely affect your oral health. Preventive care for patients of all ages involves a comprehensive examination of the teeth, gums and their supporting bone structure, with the use of advanced digital radiography, as needed. With periodic examinations, we can diagnose adverse conditions from their outset, which allows for the most straightforward and effective course of care. We’ll also provide a thorough teeth cleaning to remove plaque buildup, tartar and debris from the most difficult to reach areas around your teeth and gums. We take the time to guide you on techniques for improving your daily oral hygiene routine. Brushing, flossing and limiting your intake of sugary foods and beverages are important steps you can take each day to combat the detrimental effects of plaque and keep your smile health. Education is a vital component of preventive care, and our goal is to make your checkup informative and engaging. For our youngest patients, we strive to impart healthy habits that will last throughout your child’s life. Jamestown Root Canal

At Omni Dental, we keep pace with the latest approaches to patient comfort, keeping you relaxed and at ease throughout treatment. When you visit us for a Jamestown root canal, you can expect precise and gentle care that can save a tooth that has been compromised by deep decay or injury. Your highly skilled dentist and professional staff keep you comfortable, informed and relaxed, making root canal treatment a stress-free experience.

Jamestown Root Canal

Using state-of-the-art technology and advanced treatment methods, your experienced, compassionate dentist can alleviate painful symptoms and save a damaged tooth from extraction.  Root canal therapy addresses damage to the dental pulp, a layer of core tissues, blood vessels and nerves that lies underneath the outermost biting surface of your tooth. When deep decay or a fracture allows bacteria to seep in, the dental pulp may become infected.  A tooth infection may cause oral pain, as well as swelling and fever. If you experience these symptoms, its urgent to get to your dentist right away. Your dentist will perform a comprehensive examination to determine the cause of your pain and treat your infected tooth. Often, root canal therapy is the recommended approach to resolve a dental infection and preserve your tooth. During a Jamestown root canal, your dentist will remove the damaged pulp, clean and shape the pulp chamber, then seal the tooth to prevent re-infection. Root canal therapy is a predictable course of treatment with a high rate of success, and a tooth that has been treated with a root canal can remain functional and healthy throughout your life. Following treatment, your dentist may recommend restoring the tooth with a dental crown.

As your provider of Jamestown root canal therapy, we are committed to providing toothache relief and keeping your mouth healthy. At Omni Dental, you can rest assured that you are receiving the highest quality care. To learn more, give us a call today.

Where can I get Greensboro Dental Implants?

At Omni Dental, we keep pace with the most advanced technology and methods in the field of implant dentistry to help patients with missing teeth reestablish beautiful, complete smiles. Greensboro dental implants represent a leading-edge solution for the replacement of missing teeth, recreating the look, feel and function of natural teeth with incredibly lifelike results. Every smile is unique and at Omni Dental we tailor treatment to meet individual needs, keeping patients well informed and at ease throughout the course of care.

Greensboro Dental Implants

Millions of people across the United States are living with partial or complete tooth loss. While losing your teeth can complicate many aspects of your life, leaving embarrassing gaps in your smile and making it difficult to eat and speak, modern dentistry offers effective and satisfying options to rebuild a complete and functional smile. Replacing missing teeth with dental implants represents the most advanced method of tooth replacement. A dental implant is a small surgical post, made of biocompatible materials, which integrates with your jawbone to support an aesthetically appealing crown, bridge or overdenture. By placing an implant after a tooth is lost or extracted, the surrounding jawbone receives the continual stimulation it needs to prevent bone loss and preserve the natural contours of your face. Dental implants make it possible to replace a single missing tooth without compromising the adjacent teeth; the implant acts as an artificial tooth root to support a customized dental crown, just as your natural tooth root supports your tooth. Implants can also be used to replace multiple missing teeth or a completely edentulous arch, and can be restored with either fixed bridges or an overdenture. Additionally, by using the remarkable All-on-4®* method of care, our dentist can strategically place a minimal number of Greensboro dental implants to support a full-arch dental bridge, saving on cost, reducing healing time and providing a stable, permanent alternative to traditional dentures.

Our compassionate team of professionals makes treatment with Greensboro dental implants a positive, worry-free experience. At Omni Dental, we provide state-of-the-art prosthodontic treatment to give you back your smile and your confidence. To find out if you’re a candidate for treatment with dental implants, call today.

Persistent exposure to certain foods and beverages, such as berries, coffee and wine, as well as tobacco use, can leave stains on your teeth over time. The natural effects of aging can also take a toll on your smile, as enamel begins to thin, exposing more of the yellowish, underlying dentin. Professional teeth whitening treatment is a fast, safe and effective way to achieve a smile that sparkles. When you visit our dental office Greensboro for teeth whitening treatment, a dental healthcare professional applies a prescription grade whitening agent to the surfaces of your teeth that breaks down stains to reveal a smile that’s several shades brighter in just one short visit. For your convenience, we also offer the option of whitening your teeth at home with a customized whitening kit provided by our dentist. The at-home method provides more gradual, but equally effective results, or it can be used to maximize and maintain the brightness of your smile following in-office treatment.

Underneath the outermost biting surface of each tooth is a layer of core tissue, blood vessels and nerves, which comprise the dental pulp. When a tooth has been compromised by injury or decay, bacteria can seep in, causing infection and irreversible damage to the dental pulp. The dental pulp plays the important role of supplying your tooth with nutrients when it is first developing; however, once a tooth is fully matured, it no longer requires the dental pulp to remain functional. Because the dental pulp contains the tooth’s nerves, when infection is present you may experience a toothache. Symptoms of a toothache may include sensitivity to hot and cold, pain when biting down or any type of persistent discomfort, and may be accompanied by fever and swelling. If you have a toothache, it’s important to contact our office right away. We will provide a prompt and thorough examination to determine if Greensboro root canal therapy is needed. Keeping you informed and at ease, our dentist will remove the damaged dental pulp, clean the pulp chamber, then seal the tooth to prevent re-infection. A successful root canal alleviates oral pain, resolves infection and helps preserve your natural tooth in the dental arch. Following treatment, our dentist may recommend placing a dental crown to strengthen and protect your tooth and to restore its function and appearance.

When you visit our office for Greensboro root canal therapy our experienced team of professionals will do everything we can to help you feel comfortable and relaxed. At Omni Dental we provide the personalized attention and compassionate care you deserve at every visit. To learn more about root canal therapy treatment or to schedule an appointment, call today.

Jamestown teeth cleaning

Are you in need of a Jamestown teeth cleaning?

At Omni Dental, we use state-of-the-art technology and advanced approaches to prevent the onset and progress of gum disease. With regular, periodic Jamestown teeth cleaning treatments and  comprehensive examinations, you are taking an important step towards maintaining healthy teeth and gums. With regular preventive checkups, your dentist is able to detect gum disease in its earliest stages, for the most straightforward and effective course of treatment.

Jamestown teeth cleaning

Studies show that about half of all Americans have some form of gum disease, and gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults. To avoid the detrimental consequences of gum disease, it’s important to focus on preventive care. Gum disease occurs when plaque gathers below the gum line, causing the soft tissues and supporting structures of the teeth to become infected and inflamed. Managing the accumulation of plaque requires an oral hygiene regimen of brushing and flossing, as well as visiting your dentist for a Jamestown teeth cleaning twice a year. In its earliest stages, gum disease is referred to as gingivitis, a reversible condition that may be symptomless at first. To diagnose gingivitis, your dentist performs a comprehensive examination and uses diagnostic films, as needed. Early intervention may include periodontal treatments such as scaling and root planing. Scaling removes plaque from underneath the gums, and root planing smooths the root surfaces of teeth to prevent plaque from gathering in the rough crevices. Early intervention is important in treating gingivitis. If this condition progresses to more advanced stages of periodontal disease, your dentist may recommend more extensive cleaning treatments, and other options such as medication and grafting.

At Omni Dental, we provide the highest quality preventive care to keep your teeth and gums healthy. With Jamestown teeth cleaning and periodontal treatments, we help you achieve optimal oral health. To learn more, give us a call today.
